Surfside’s Real Estate Renaissance

Thursday, May 5, 2016

It may encompass only one entire square mile, but the town of Surfside Florida has grown by leaps and bounds since its humble beginnings. Back in 1935, residents of the original Surf Club decided to incorporate the town nestled between Miami Beach and Bal Harbour into a tropically infused oceanfront enclave that’s now seeing a tremendous amount of activity and is now home to over 5,000 residents and plenty of retail and dining establishments.

During the past three years the Surfside landscape has transformed into a collection of expensive and luxurious condominium projects. One of the most hotly anticipated is the upcoming Surf Club Four Seasons being designed by Richard Meier. Comprised of eighty hotel rooms and a pair of twelve story residential towers, its amenities will include two restaurants, gardens overlooking the ocean, a private club, and a quartet of swimming pools. Upon completion, Surf Club Four Seasons will be located at 9011 Collins Avenue.

Another project that’s generated a great amount of interest is the Fendi Chateau by the Chateau Group. It will be the first ever Fendi-branded hotel-condo in the world and will be opening in the summer. Units within the building are nearly ninety percent sold.
