A new building will eventually be arriving to Miami Beach’s perennial favorite Lincoln Road courtesy of the Miami-based architecture and design firm Perkins+Will and its developer Crescent Heights. To see some of the tallest high-rises in South Florida, all you need to do is drop by Downtown Miami and the Brickell area. These two places are full of sky-piercing architectural works of art that make bold statements and also make for some truly incredible buildings to live in. One of these buildings is Jade Residences at Brickell Bay, a 46-story condominium with an easternmost location directly overlooking the waters of Biscayne Bay.

Would placing restrictions on Ocean Drive alcohol sales after 2 am make South Beach a better place? That’s one of the issues up for debate by the Miami Beach city commission. The town of Bay Harbor Islands is quietly nestled to the west of Bal Harbour and north of the affluent Indian Creek community. It is intersected by Broad Causeway which allows easy access to Miami, located west across the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay. The Towers of Quayside is a community located within Miami to the east of Biscayne Boulevard not far from the village of Miami Shores.
